Probably last night on our airplane. That was the closest I’ve been to really accepting that I was going to die. The luggage door below the plane opened, so the sounds were crazy and our plane was going side to side. And I was screaming for the flight attendants ‘Is everything okay!?

“My plan was to do a few more years of indies and remind people and myself how I started,” 

몇 년간 인디 작품을 하면서 사람들과 자기자신에게 내가 어디서 시작했는지 일깨우려고 했었음

“I feel like something really clicked when I was 25,” Lawrence reflects. “It’s not as scary to say what you mean anymore. Remember how scary that used to be? Like ‘What if they think I’m mad at them?’ Now it’s like ‘They better think I’m mad!’ ” 

25살때 뭔가 스위치가 켜진 느낌. 이제 말하고 싶은거 말할때 더이상 두렵지 않음. 만약 내가 화났다고 생각하면 어떡하지 하다가 이제는 내가 화났다고 생각하는게 좋을거야 로 바뀜

“You might think you know me, but when you approach me you’re a total stranger to me and I’m scared.” She sighs. “I get very protective of my space. It took me a long time to be able to do that. But if I’m eating dinner and somebody comes up and a flash goes off from someone’s iPhone camera, I am really rude to that person. Then other people at the restaurant will see and be like, ‘Oh, damn, I don’t want to do that.’ Privacy is a full-time job and I work very hard at it.”

자기를 안다고 생각하겠지만 나한테 다가올때 그쪽은 수상한 사람이고 무서움을 느낌. 사적인 공간에 매우 방어적임. 밥먹고 있을때 다가와서 누군가가 사진을 찍으면 정말 무례하게 대할 수 있음. 

“The directing bug hit me two years after I got the acting bug,” she admits.
